First Post

Seeing how my livejournal wasn't able to put up with my photos with restrictions and suggesting paying for it, i have decided to try using blogger instead.

Leaving on Singapore on 20 jun took us on a tiring journey from Singapore to Yellowstone located mostly on Wyoming area.

First stop from Singapore to Taipei for transition with a 5 hour flight with 2+ hours of waiting time at Taoyuan airport.

Next was a 11 hour journey flight from Taipei to San Francisco with close to 10 hours of waiting time at the airport which i ended up sleeping at the seats there. Was pretty cold around 14 degrees outside SF.

Onwards was a domestic flight from SF to Salt Lake City of 2 hours and 1 hours of waiting time. Fantastic place with some of the nicest view i have seen. Was pretty hot though.

From Salt Lake City, the flight to Bozeman Montana took about 1 hour. Yellowstone personnels were at the airport receiving us. The airport, and the area were pretty rural but its the nature of it that brought me to Yellowstone anyway.

The ladies from YNP were very friendly and after showing the required documents to them, we were notified of the villages we are going to. Luckily for me and my friends, we were posted to canyon village while some other people were going to old faith or mammoth. Putting our bags in the bus that were filled with people of various nationalities that came with the same purpose that came earlier, we said goodbye to our bulky bags and followed one of the lady from YNP to her van to make our social security pass after which we were driven to Yellowstone and during the journey i was in awe with the marvelous mountains and wild animals and the houses and buildings and basically everything pretty much.

We were brought to the main office where we were made known of our postings once again and also filling in some more forms and our employment pass. One of the ladies even told me her birthday was the same day as mine and jokingly told me we will celebrate together and that was nice actually even though i wouldn't count on that haha.

The trip to my village took like 2 hours and again seeing more marvelous scenes and people during the drive. I saw what were probably people who are on the same agenda as us looking out at us from different lodging houses and that made me uncomfortable for some reason lol. Anyway we were led to the personnel office where we were arranged with the lodging which was Bighorn with my friends. Had a quick dinner at the employee's diner area since it's close to 6.10pm and dinner closes at 6.30pm. Had a rough time carrying my double luggage to the lodging area as it was quite a distance and it's heavy lol. Met with the lodging admin called AL that showed us to the rooms and gave us the keys and was supplied with bedsheets, pillow, blanket etc from a nice lady (forgot her name Orz) and i had a quick shower (thank god for the hot shower) and slept all the way. The next day was just some training and the rest was more free time and i took the time to walk around but mostly was getting more rest and adjustment to the weather and time. The food so far was fantastic and compare to Singapore's style was way better.

Had some nice chat with Renae (hello !) and was telling her some of my trip details. Si Mika always afk lol. Judy where have you been ? and Fellatrix :P

Current time is 7.25pm and till now i'm enjoying the place and weather. Will keep up with the news.
